Lotha Football Championship: EYL and FUFC win on the 2nd day

Wokha, Jan.12: The second day of the Lotha football championship witnessed three exciting matches with a total of 11 goals scored.
In the first match, 2015 runners up Lower E’Khel drew with tournament debutant Okotso FC 3-3. Okotso FC drew first blood through Pintok in the 9th minute which was doubled by Mhathung (14), Mhabemo scored in the 50th minute .David (33),Yanren (58) and Athong (64) scored for Lower E’Khel. Pintok of OFC was awarded yellow card for unsporting behaviour.In the second match of the day,debutant Etsutchukha Youth League (EYL) blanked Soldier of Christ (SOC) 2-0. SOC fell behind through an own goal in the 11th minute. The second goal was scored by Stephen (51) through penalty. Renthungo of EYL was awarded the second yellow card of the tournament.
Forest United FC beat a spirited GHS Youth League 2-1 in the third match of the day. Achon Ezung (27) and Rhonbemo Kikon (63) scored for FUFC and Lijamo scored for GHS YL. Senben Ngullie of FUFC was booked for unsporting behaviour in the 11th minute.

Friday’s match.
1. 4G FC vs Vungotchu (10:00 a.m)
2. Friends FC vs EYL.
3. Lower E’Khel vs Forest United.
