Dimapur, April 21 (EMN): A ‘temporary bridge’ in Longleng district connecting Montikang with Chuchuyimlang in Mokokchung district was ‘washed away due to incessant rain for the last few days in the region’, according to a DIPR report on Saturday.
Travellers have been advised to ‘take the normal Longleng-Changtongya road’. “This road leading to Chuchuyimlang via Mongtikang serves as an alternative route not only for the people of Longleng district but also for Tobu and Moka area of Mon district. People travel via this road due to its short distance and pathetic condition of Changtongya-Longleang road,” the report read.
