Music is a way we can belt, hook on to that influence and we feel music with our entire feelings. With Rhythm of Love Eastern Mirror connects our readers to music in conversation with artists as they share their experience with their love ……. music.
Music moves us, opens our emotions passing all barriers. Music is a piece that we all can connect with so Readers get connected with your favorite artists with the Rhythm of Love. On Fridays, Eastern Mirror will feature Artists/bands from the state and outside while promoting MUSIC-the present craze of the state.

Eastern Mirror: Who are your musical influences? What inspirations do you draw from them?
WANNYEN BEZO:I should say my daddy is my greatest inspiration. Being a music lover himself n having a great passion for singing, my siblings and I are quite connected with singing and music… I’ve always been encouraged by my dad to take on every platform in the art of music… Apart from that some artistes that have influenced me are Carrie Underwood, Cher Llyod, Rihanna and many more.

EM: Tell us about your musical background.
WB:As a child I’ve been singing in churches and many other events … I didn’t take up any formal music training though… I am learning new things everyday and am trying to master the art of singing.

EM: Do you write songs? If so what is your song writing process?
WB:I do write songs but as of now I haven’t done any of my originally written songs but very soon someday you’ll get to hear it…

EM: As a female artist what is the scenario of the music industry in the state for women?
WB: Presently Nagaland is one of the most vibrant and diversestate, within d north eastern as far as recording artistes r concerned but d music events r very limited. I feel that many do not take on music as their career within the state, in-spite of many talented artistes we have instead we opt for music as one of our hobbies .One should be in the verge of realization that music can be more than a hobby if more effort and hard work is put into to making it big. As far as female artistes are concerned we have only a handful of them who are genuinely making a good name among the male artistes. I wish to see more female artistesand musicians in the state.

EM: With musicians flooding in the state how do you stand out and what would you attribute for that?
WB: Honestly it is not very easy to get your music heard where so many talented n amazing musicians are flooding in, but we somehow manage to keep the consistency throughout. The best way to keep our music flowing would be by connecting with people, promoting it in the best we can, in the right platforms, taking every opportunity that comes n most importantly being patient because we do not always have positive responses. We should stay humbled otherwise stay humbled.

EM: What is your most memorable moment till today?
WB: My most memorable moment would b the time of shooting for my debut music video “spread my wings” n receiving its award for the best music video at the 6th music awards of Nagaland.
EM: Which musical instrument do you play? Which among you are you fond of and why?
WB: I’m very much fond of guitars though I have only the littlest idea of it. I’m learning it .I’m mostly connected to the sound of acoustic guitars as I find it easier to hum or sing along with n the other reason is because my dad n brother plays them too.

EM: What would you like to achieve by end of this year?
WB: Presently as a student I feel that I should put my studies and my academic career as my first priority, I want to see myself achievedin this field at the end of the year. But also not leaving aside music and singing with which I will be kept motivated and energized. I especially want to practice and master my singing skills as I’m lacking behind many artists and musicians.
