Life Continues

Empty Room, depressed Mind,
Tears of the inconsolable kind;
Cries from the aggrieved heart,
Bearing burden of mindful hurt.

Poor Soul, it pours when it rains for me.
Presenting a blurred vision of w’at I see.
Makes me wonder what life is all about-
If it’s worth all the battles I have fought!

Hark! God isn’t an author of confusion.
He, in Grace, lords over every situation.
He’ll never burden you with such a load,
T’at’d stall your journey in t’e strait road.

Thus, with this flickering Light of mine
I tread on, ever cautious of the redline;
Battling with my demons each new day,
Gleaning lessons in every possible way.

Challenges& temptations in all forms,
Keep pressing hard beyond all norms;
At times, too great a problem to bear,
For this lonely soul with none to care.

Yet, to God be given glory that is due,
As this lone journey of life continues.
No matter what my adversary brings,
I shall face it boldly as my soul sings.
