Ma’am,
The construction of side drains between Dimapur and Chumoukedima will be filled by silt (sand) deposits and eventually blocked if proper workmanship is not taken care of by authority concerned. The road is raw as of now and drains are already being filled with much sand and silt. The work seems to be not properly supervised by technical staff but left to labourers who make mistakes in finding proper levels of elevation of drain and it is being knocked down time and again at several places. Holes made for road water entries are not at proportionate levels. Rods are sparsely used with local sand for covering slabs, which can never last long.

It is very imperative for the local denizens to raise the issue before poor quality work is delivered to the citizens. Quality Control Committee, if it exists, either Govt. or NGO should step in at appropriate time.
