DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 15: The 29th Leo Club Inter-school Table Tennis Tournament, organized by Leo Club of Dimapur began on Saturday at Lions Club, Dimapur where 13 different schools are participating.
A total of 70 boys and 33 girls are participating for the singles and doubles title this year. The tournament was inaugurated by the president of Hindu Seva Samiti, Dimapur, Gopal Sharma. He also inaugurated the annual magazine of the club i.e., The Naga Leo during the programme. Encouraging the participants, Sharma reminded them about the set of rules that is to be followed while playing any sport and told them to maintain sportsmanship spirit throughout the game. He told the participants to accept defeat gracefully even if they lose the game. He said sport teaches us to cope with failures and disappointments. The finals of the tournament will be played on Sunday.
