Dimapur, Sep. 30 (EMN): Stating that people living in the border areas are yet to see light of the day, Jacob Zhimomi, MLA, urged upon the people living in the border areas of the State to create a platform to promote cultural ties and local tourism between the neighbouring states.
Jacob said this at the inaugural function of a Border Rest House in Aghunaqa, EAC headquarter this morning. Others who spoke on the occasion included Kitoka Chishi, EAC Aghunaqa; S Vihuto Yeputhomi, president of Western Sumi Kukami Hoho; LK Achumi, advisor of KAK Union; and presidents of GBs associations of five areas.

The inaugural function of the rest house, which was organised by KAK (Kuhuboto-Aghunaqa-Khaghaboto) Union was chaired by Viheshe Chishi, vice president of KAK Union, and recorded by Kawoto Aye, general secretary KAK Union.
