Briefing villagers and party executives, he affirmed that the work would be completed in time and that “there cannot be any compromise in terms of the quality of work.” It may be noted that the earlier bridge was washed away by flash floods this year. It was through his personal intervention that the reconstruction of the bridge began right after monsoon. The bridge, which connects the two villages with Dimapur near Padumpukhuri over Chathe river, would be made pliable for two-wheelers once it is completed on time. This was stated in a joint statement issued by president of NPF president of 5 Ghaspani AC Seyielhoutuo Keyho and the general secretary Tokihe Zhimo.
