Dimapur, Oct. 23 (EMN): Parliamentary secretary of Art and Culture, Eshak Hessum Konyak, has inaugurated Changai Loung Baan (Morung) in Longching village on October 20.
Terming Changai Loung Baan as an important platform for taking decision, Eshak, in his inaugural speech, said villagers or members of a khel gather for making decision of all nature. To strengthen the bond of unity and oneness amongst the villagers, he urged the villagers to make the best positive use of the morung.
The programme was attended by EAC Longching, Vini, and host of officials from the Department of Art and Culture led by Deputy Secretary, Hito Sema and Junior Director, Yeveyi Sapuh. Public leaders from neighbouring villages also attended the function.
