KTA holds annual conference

Dimapur, May 22 (EMN): Minister of Transport, Civil Aviation, IT&C, and Border Affairs, P Paiwang, has cautioned the youth against being misled by mushrooming of various denominations due to doctrinal differences.
Speaking at the annual conference of the Konyak Theological Association (KTA), Paiwang Konyak advised the youth not to be led astray by those doctrines if Konyaks wants to be under one association.
Chairman of NPSC, A Yanan, in his address to the theologically trained people, reminded that theological studies start with the truth. He encouraged the theological students to be bold enough to speak out the truth and serve the Lord with full dedication and commitment.
The annual conference was held on the theme “We preach Christ,” on May 19 and 20 at Shangsa village, with Rev. N Sheipa; Bongtao; Rev. T Honlong and Hinglong as speakers.
During the programme, S Apang, lecturer of Mon Theological College, presented a paper on child labour. A penal of discussion on clean elections was also held.
The opening ceremony was led by New Life Bible College, Dimapur, while the closing ceremony was led by Discipleship Bible College, Dimapur.
More than 315 Konyak theological students attended the conference.
