Dimapur, July 27: The Khelhoshe Polytechnic Teachers’ Association (KPTA) has vehemently condemned the theft that took place at Lecturers’ quarters and government hostels of both boys and girls at Khelhoshe KPA during semester break.
The Association asserted that it will not remain a silent spectator to such ‘uncivilized’ act in the educational institute which is happening repeatedly during semester breaks. KPTA president Imnasangba Jamir and general secretary Vizekhol Rhutso in a press note said, “This act of robbery not only cause loss of belongings but also affects conducive environment within the institute.”
KPTA therefore requested all ‘sensible’ citizens to strongly condemn the theft. The Association also appealed to the concerned authority not to let off the case but book the culprit at the earliest and give befitting punishment. The Association maintained that it has earlier given a representation to the concerned authority to arrange atleast one police out-post/platoon in the institute which is still under process. The Association therefore requested the authority to expedite the process for the welfare of the faculty, staffs and students community at KPA without delay.
