Kohima, May 22 (EMN): K Kire, retired DGP, on Monday, inaugurated the Sony showroom, at High School Junction above Canon Showroom in Kohima. The proprietor of the showroom is Khriesanyu Miachieo.
Abhishek Sengupta, area manager of Sony India Pvt. Ltd., said it is one of the first company owned brand shops in Nagaland. He also mentioned that Sony India is planning to open its sub-service centre in Dimapur, which will be operated from Kohima.
The showroom will offer electronic products like TVs, digital imaging products, home theatre system, play stations and different accessories such as pen drive, blue tooth, power banks etc.
Sony is among the semiconductor sales leaders and the fifth-largest television manufacturer in the world after Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, TCL, and Hisense.
