Kohima Football League starts today

Kohima, August 8 (EMN): The much awaited Kohima Football League Trophy 2017 will kick start on Wednesday at 1.30 pm at Kohima local ground (Khuochiezie). The chief guest will be Kekhrie Yhome.
In a press briefing on Tuesday, both the teams for the opening match, United 16 FC and Forerunner FC exuded confidence for the match.
United 16 FC coach, Chon said: “We look forward to the first match and will be keen to play to win for a three point to start the league. We have high hopes and expectations and dreams of victory as the motto says believe and achieve”.
Jonathan Koso, captain United 16 FC, said that his team will be playing with youngsters mostly.
Forerunner FC coach, Daniel Rongmei said that his club was very happy to play in KFL. “My club comprises very young players guided by few senior players” he added.
Forerunner FC captain, Vikedozo Yashu said it’s a good opportunity for the players to exhibit talents and look forward for an exciting league.
