Kiphire, Jan. 6: The Kiphire based tribal hohos has finally decided to pave way for the intending candidates to file their nominations from 11 am on Saturday by signing an undertaking by the candidates.
While speaking to a representative of the tribal hohos, it was informed that in the event of infringement of traditional and customary practices of the Nagas in future by any provisions of the municipal councils, all the candidates shall withdraw their candidatures at any point of time.
So far most of the intending candidates are co- operating with the hohos in signing the undertaking. Dr Tino, ADC of Kiphire also confirmed that the nomination will start tomorrow at 11 am, but the office of the Deputy Commissioner will be closed by 8 am for public interview on account of the nomination process which will last till 3 pm.
