Khekaho urges department staff to work with diligence

Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Public Relations, Khekaho Assumi, accompanied by the Director, Pausui Zeliang, visited DPRO Office in Peren on February 5.
During the visit, the Parliamentary Secretary interacted with the staff of the District Public Relations Officer, wherein he encouraged the staff to perform their duties and serve the public and make their presence felt in the district.
Among others who spoke during the programme, I Simon Teilia, DPRO, Peren, proposed for opening of a new Information Centre in Jalukie town in view of the increasing developmental activities taking place in the area.
In response, the Parliamentary Secretary assured the staff to take up the matter on priority basis.
He also assured to improve the public address system and better equipments particularly in videograhpy and filing NEWS through internet system for the departmental staff.
