Diphu, June 23 (EMN): BJP East Karbi Anglong District Committee (EKADC) general secretary Ajit Dey has expressed acknowledged the people of Karbi Anglong for giving the party a resounding mandate to sit in Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC).
Dey said the BJP will bring development in the backward districts without any discrimination irrespective of caste and creed. He stated the electoral victory of the BJP showed the people’s desire for change.
The BJP will give free corruption administration for the welfare of the people added Dey.
BJP EKADC also observed ‘Balidan Diwas’ the death anniversary of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the founder of BJP at its office at Rongnihang, Diphu, Karbi Anglong.
BJP West Karbi Anglong District Committee vice president Rensing Ronghang also expressed gratitude to the people for giving their valuable votes. The party won eight MAC seats out of nine.
