Diphu, May 23 (EMN): H.N Bora, IAS (Rtd.) the State Election Commissioner of Assam today notified the reschedule date of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Election (KAAC) 2017. The State Election Commission considering upon the aspect of security and law and order in the district of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) vis-a-vis availability of police force and its mobilisation the date of poll, date of Re-poll and date of counting in respect of the election of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council has re-schedule.
The date of polling is scheduled on June 17 (8:00 AM-4:00 PM), date of Re-poll (if any) on June 20 (8:00 AM- 4:00 PM) and date of counting on June 22 (8:00 AM to till completion of the counting process).
