KAAC delegations meet Kiren Rijiju in New Delhi

Diphu, July 26 (EMN): A delegations of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) led by Chief Executive Member (CEM) Tuliram Ronghang, Chairman Horensing Bey, MLA Dr Mansing Rongpi, MAC’s Mongol Sing Timung, Darsing Ronghang and Ritesh Enghi today met Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju at his official chamber at North Block Central Secretariat, New Delhi.
During the meeting the team had submitted a memorandum to Kiren Rijiju regarding the long pending issue of twin hills district of Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao district Article 244 (A) separate autonomous state of the Indian Constitution.
According to sources, Rijiju had assured the delegations team for implementation of Separate Autonomous State and the protective measure of the Sixth Schedule of Karbi Anglong.
