Dimapur, August 16 (EMN): The Civil Judge (Senior) division of Mon has issued a corrigendum on August 14 to his earlier order on the same day, that his earlier order was effective only in the district of Mon.
In the second order of the day Learned Judge Inalo Zhimomi stated, “Accordingly, the defendant is hereby restrained from using the name of NPF, its symbol and flags and is further restrained from opening of any new office using the name of NPF party in the District of Mon, Nagaland till the next returnable date.”
Regarding his earlier order he stated that it was to operate only within the jurisdiction of his court, that is within the District of Mon, however the court had inadvertently failed to mention it.
This led to the need for a modification of the earlier order.
Rio convenes general convention
Meanwhile the interim president of the NPF and MP (LS) Neiphiu Rio has today convened a general convention of the party on September 20.
“In exercise of the powers conferred on me, I hereby convene the NPF general convention on 20th Sept at Dimapur, ” stated a press release from the interim president.
It further added that the venue of the general convention will be intimated in due course of time.
