Dimapur, Jan. 20 (EMN): The Janata Dal (U) has reiterated its alliance with the now-hardly-existing Democratic Alliance of Nagaland in the run-up to the Nagaland assembly elections.
A press statement from the JD (U) on Sat. stated that the party was committed to contesting the assembly elections ‘in a meaningful way’.
“The party is in the process of consulting all the concern political parties and groups to finalist the alliance. The state party leaders and some regional outfit will meet the party President Nitish Kumar in Delhi on 27th of Jan for final decision,” it informed.
