The NSCN(IM) it is investigating into the couple killing incident to bring the perpetrators of this reprehensible act of terrorism to justice. The NSCN(IM) stressed that it will take all into accounts that those responsible for the killings shall be held accountable and urged all citizens to actively cooperate in this regard.
The outfit then strongly condemned the incident where Alemba and his wife Naro were murdered at a place near Yayi Bridge while on way to Kiphire from Shamator. The NSCN(IM) also ‘equally’ condemned the arson and destruction of houses committed by mob aftermath of the incident.
The outfit then expressed deep sympathy and condolences to the bereaved orphans and to the families of the victims.
The outfit also appealed to “our people” to localize the incident and to solve the problem amicably through peaceful means. “The incident has affected scores of students who are appearing their Board examinations and other day-to-day daily lives, which is a social wrong,” the NSCN(IM) added.
