Imphal, Sep. 3 (EMN): Ram Lal Paul Higher Secondary School emerged as the team champion with 63 points in the boy’s category in the 2nd Inter School Arm Wrestling Meet, 2017 which concluded at Kakwa Community Hall here on Sunday.
Azad English School bagged the second position with 38 points. In the girl’s category, Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School claimed the team champion with 34 points and Khongjom Standard English School was adjudged the runner-up with 26 points.
The event was organised by The Manipur Arm Wrestling Association from September 1– 3 and it was participated by nearly 280 students from 35 different schools of the state. State education minister Th Radheshyam and former firebrand opposition leader O Joy attended the closing cum prize distribution ceremony on Sunday.
