India’s Big Superstar show coming soon to Nagaland

A unit of Balaji group of companies from Mumbai after the newly launched of an International reality show named India’s Big Superstar by Banktesh cine vision private limited is now focusing in Northeast by bringing first ever reality show that will help promote the talented young artist from the Northeast.
Chairman Managing Director (CMD) Manoj Gupta informed the media persons that his vision was to include talented northeast performers to get an equal opportunity like those other 35 cities in India. He said this during a press conference held at Mayur Hotel,G S road, Marwari patti on Wednesday.
Gupta also mentioned about the audition that was successfully conducted in some places like Shillong, Dibrugarh and Tinsukia where hundreds turned up to try their luck but only a few were selected. The process for the audition was in four categories- singing, acting, dancing and instrumental music in a single platform.
Having a big platform coming ahead, he also spoke about the 400 selected participants from the 7th rounds of audition that is 100 in acting, 100 in dancing, 100 in singing and 100 in instrumental music will get an opportunity to sign an agreement for feature films both regional and national language, documentary films, festival films, TV serials and advertisement films.
He also said that 400 artists will be selected from all the 35 cities that make 14000 participants who will be facing a zonal round in New Delhi, out of which only 800 will be selected and they will get a chance to do a cinematic theatre. And the remaining 13,200 will be given an opportunity in festival films, feature films TV serials and advertisements.
The audition is divided into two groups- junior and senior groups with the age limit of 10 to 30 years. Not forgetting the top 10 finalist of each category along with the mentors will be getting a chance to perform abroad which is a dream for every performer he said.
Finally, Manoj was looking forward to finding talented artists and performers from Dimapur on June 24 audition which will be held at Prabananda Women’s college for which he requested every groups and individual to be ready, show up and stay for the audition. Staff Reporter
