Imphal, October 15: Close on the heels of the announcement to give the Nobel Prize for Literature to American songwriter and singer Bob Dylan, a group of music lovers in Manipur will be holding a live acoustic music event featuring Manipur’s popular protest singer Tapta at the Giving Tree premises of Sangaiprou in Imphal on Sunday.
The event will be organized jointly by the Leipung Wah Entertainment and Art Heals Trust under the theme ‘Recalling the Power of Attraction.’
The event is also said to be an effort to honour the singer and songwriter Jayanta of Naranseina in Bishnupur district popularly known as Tapta.
