Diphu, May 23 (EMN): The authority of Kari Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) has issued an order for the release in service of Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (PCCF), Karbi Anglong, Dr. Abhijit Rabha, IFS in Diphu on May 23 Wednesday.

KAAC, Principal secretary Mahadananda Hazarika told Eastern Mirror correspondent that the KAAC members were not satisfied with the service provided by Dr. Rabha and has been released from the KAAC. The order was issued on May 23.

Hazarika said that on May 22 an important meeting was convened at KAAC secretariat during the visit of State environment and forest minister Parimal Suklabaidya to Diphu with all high officials of all departments under KAAC for which a letter has been issued to Dr. Rabha but failed to turn up for the meeting.

Parimal Suklabaidya on May 22 took part in the 25th International Day for Biodiversity held in Diphu at Biodiversity cum Recreation Park.

Also, the KAAC expressed dis- satisfaction on the performance and services rendered by Dr. Rabha, the Principal Secretary informed.

Until a new forest officer is posted, the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of East Division Joysing Bey has been handed the responsibility by KAAC authority to overlook the affairs of PCCF office in Diphu. At the same time DFO Bey will be the DFO of East Division.
