Idea 4G facility now available in Kohima and Mokokchung

DIMAPUR, JULY 27: India’s fastest growing telecom operator, Idea Cellular has now spread its high-speed 4G LTE service coverage to Kohima and Mokokchung in Nagaland, in addition to the existing service in Dimapur that was launched early this year.
In a press release issued today, the telecom giant informed that similar services would also be available in Agartala, Aizawl, Imphal, Senapati and Tura. With this, the number of districts in Idea Cellular’s North East Service Area with high-speed 4G LTE faculty has risen to 9. “With the rapid expansion in a fairly short span of time, Idea’s 4G LTE services are now available to over 1.7 million people in North East. Customers in Tura, Senapati and Mokokchung will have their first 4G experience on the Idea network as it is has become the first operator to make 4G available in these towns,” the press release stated.
It quoted the Chief Operating Officer (East) of Idea Cellular, Anish Roy as saying: “As part of the aggressive roll out of Idea’s 4G LTE service, our focus has been to build a robust telecom infrastructure and provide superior internet coverage. With better internet experience at affordable tariff plans and commitment towards customer delight, we aim to provide the best experience to our subscribers.”
Idea Cellular, according to the press release, has kept its focus in the northeast market strong by investing heavily in securing spectrum, setting up network infrastructure and laying and maintaining the Optical Fibre Cable in tough terrain.
It also announced the launch of its responsive 4G website – www.ideacellular.com/4G. Subscribers can log on to this website to get more information about Idea’s 4G services, tariff plans and recharges, locate the nearest Idea stores offering 4G SIMs and much more.
