Hornbill International Rock’s journey begins with loud guitars

Dimapur, Dec. 5: The 2018 edition of the Hornbill International Rock Contest (HIRC) began at the Agri Expo in Dimapur on December 5 with eight bands competing on the first day.
The director of the Music Task Force, Gugs Chishi, declared the rock music competition open. He said that the first day of the competition marked the beginning of a “happy journey” forward.
Chishi informed that the next three days will see bands audition and by the end of the third day, judges will have finalised nine bands to compete in the finals.
“The best nine bands will perform on the 8th for the first, second and third prize,” Chishi said.
