Dimapur, Dec 4: Seven tribes of Nagaland performed cultural extravaganza on the fourth day of the ongoing Hornbill Festival at Naga Heritage village, Kisama. Air Marshal C Hari Kumar, AVSM VM VSM AOC-in-C EAC, was the chief guest of the function.
Angangba village cultural troupe from Sangtam community performed ‘Angtong,’ while the Kachari cultural troupe from Purana Bazaar, Dimapur, performed ‘Mwsaglangnal,’ Nsong village cultural troupe from Zeliang community performed folk dance, Pathso Noken cultural troupe from Khiamniungan community performed common folk dance, Ekranipathar village cultural troupe from Garo community performed folksong ‘Ancheng Re Re,’ Wokha village cultural troupe from Lotha community performed war dance, Orangkong village cultural troupe from Phom community performed ‘Jholu Khobo,’ Kithagha village cultural troupe from Rengma community performed folksong ‘Kemezo Khwe,’ Sangphur village cultural troupe from Yimchunger community performed ‘Chie Tongsak Khi.’
