Hemavi wins gold in Muay Thai

Dimapur, Jan 10:
Hemavi Ayemi of Shozukhu village from Khaghaboto area has made record to knock out his opponent in just one minute and 20 second in the first round to claim the gold medal in the recently held 5th Federation Cup Muay Thai Championship at Tepesia Sports Complex in Sonapur, Assam. The Championship was held from January 5-8.
Hemavi Ayemi is a trained member from The Combat Academy (TCA), Nagaland. He won three bouts en route to his gold medal in the senior division lightweight (under 71kgs) category. He knocked out his final opponent in just 1 minute 20 seconds of the first round itself.
“I thank my friends, my TCA team and my coach Khriemelie for training and preparing me for the fight. Thank you Jesus for this victory.” Hemavi said.
