Dimapur, May 26 (EMN): The Highway Area Sumi Students’ Union (Hassu) has felicitated successful students, who have cleared the High School Leaving Certificate and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate examination for 2018. The event was conducted at the Sumi Baptist Church in Padampukhuri, Dimapur.
Speaking on the occasion, deputy commissioner of Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel, has congratulated all the successful students and further encouraged them to continue with the same spirit of dedication and devotion till they achieve ultimate success in life. Patel has urged the students to plan their future and keep their goals in sight.
During the event, the union general secretary Mughaka Chishi moderated the prize distribution ceremony. Hukaho H Aye, a student from Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School in Dimapur, was awarded for securing 5th position in science with a percentage of 87.80 %; Huli N Achumi from St. John Higher Secondary School for securing 84th position in Philosophy; Kitoshi Wokha from Government Higher Secondary School, Nagarjan, for securing 95th position in Sumi.
The students were awarded with cash prizes and certificates.
