Harvest School Mission set to train upcoming missionaries

Dimapur, March 23 (EMN): Seeing the potential and rising numbers of the Naga missionaries in Nagaland, Harvest School of Missions in collaboration with Iris Global, a Christian mission organisation with Asia Harvest Alliance (AHA), a network of churches and ministries will be conducting a residential school programme for 30 days at Life Spring Corner, Dimapur from April 1 to 30.

The entire programme will be ushered by a team of 10 local staff along with 13 international staff.

Harvest School of Missions led by school leader Geen Varghese a Non-Residential Indian (NRI) from America are all set to train a new breed of missionaries in 30 days.

Addressing the press conference, organizers said the word mission is not something new in the society but they decided to come together to join hands with the same vision to flow in where the other main line are doing and help the students to identify their caliber and open various platforms to go and serve as a new generation missionaries.

Their main focus in organising the retreat was to help the people with what they are doing and for those students who are looking forward to entering into mission work as part timer or full timer and encourage those who have a heart for mission or someone who are already involved in mission works but taking a break.

Having good numbers of response even from the other parts of the country for the retreat, the organizers said they were looking forward to welcome age group of 18 years and above.

The retreat will not only have classes but will include practical sessions where students will not only be taught “Hallelujah and praise the Lord,” but to help the students face the reality with actions, the organizers added.
