Guidelines to applying for poll duty certificate

Dimapur, March 23 (EMN): The establishment of the nodal officer for election duty certification of Kohima has informed that people who have been assigned with election work within Nagaland may apply for election duty certificates (EDC).
The government bulletin IPR issued updates on Saturday stating the information.
Nodal officer Alemyapang Longchar was stated to have issued a notice informing that the EDC shall comprise Form 12-A application, which is to be filled up by the applicant; and Form 12-B certificate.

The date of issuance of Form 12-A will be from March 22, and the last date for submission of Form 12-A will be April 1, the updates stated.

The EDC for those in Kohima will be issued on April 3 rd from the EDC cell, in the deputy commissioner’s office in Kohima. For other districts, the certificates will be issued from April 6. The following documents are required for one to apply for the EDC: Duty details from the competent authority, Xerox copy of the elector’s photo identity card; and Service ID in original (while receiving EDC).
