Dimapur, Sep. 26 (EMN): Association of Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland (AGBCN) has announced to hold the 8th biennial youth conference from October 12-14 at Chumoukedima town hall on the theme ‘In step with the word of God’ (II Timothy 3:16-17).
The youth conference will be hosted by Nepali Baptist Church, Chumukedima, Dimapur.
In a press note, AGBCN youth secretary Shishir Lama stated that the youth conference is being organised to provide platform for the Gorkha Christian youth to showcase their talents and bring the community together from different places of Nagaland.
Highlights of the youth conference would include various youth related programmes including music, dance and most importantly the word of God.
Speakers for the three-day conference will be Rev. Matthias Subba, Himalayan Evangelical Fellowship from Kalimpong, Darjeeling, and Rev. Ranjit Kunwar, founder of Living Church Kathmandu, Nepal.
Praise and worship during the three-day youth conference would be led by The Chronicles Band Dimapur from NBC, Walford, and The Living Church worship team from Kathmandu.
Some of the main events would include ‘Battle of Bands’ from different Nepali churches of Nagaland, cultural dance competition, and live concert on October 13.
