Dimapur, May 23 (EMN): The Global Open University of Nagaland (GOUN) has been conferred an award, Best University of the Year Award, in the area of curriculum development and instructional material preparation, updates informed on Wednesday. The award was announced during the Dialogue India sponsored Education Conclave held at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in New Delhi.
The university’s pro-chancellor Dr. SN Pandey was said to have received the award from Krishna Raj, the Union minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
