Gigi Hadid the ‘World’s Most Connected Supermodel’

Gigi Hadid has been named The World’s Most Connected Supermodel by W Magazine.
The 20-year-old beauty has been given the title because of her incredible influence on social media with 5 million Instagram followers, but she insists she’s reluctant to “force her career” on to other people.
She said: “All the companies I work for want me to guarantee how much I’ll post for them. But I’m not going to force my career onto the people who follow me. I refuse to do 40 Instagram posts about any campaign.”
The stunning blonde – who, along with pals Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne, is taking the modelling world by storm – is also adamant she’s more than just a pretty face.She told the magazine: “I have always been aware of the business side of the industry. I’ve always seen it as a career that required work and planning.”
Meanwhile, Gigi previously confessed she has no problem with being photographed in the nude following her raunchy campaign for Tom Ford’s Velvet Orchid fragrance.
She said: “I’ve never been scared of being naked in pictures, but I wouldn’t do naked for naked’s sake.
“With Tom, it was an easy decision. When you think of scent, you don’t think of clothes. In the beginning, I thought Tom would not want to know my name. But he made a space for me in the high-fashion world. When Tom liked me, other jobs followed.”
