Come this summer, Kohima capital will witness the 1st Futsal (Five aside) championship. Organized by Rüziezou Colony Youth (RCY), D-Khel Kohima, the championship will be held from July 16 to 18 at D. Khel ground, Seikhazou, Kohima Village.
The entry fee is fixed at Rs.2,000 per team and last date of from submission is July 11. Entry Forms are available at Athi Shop, D. The organizer said that “our event- Season Futsal Championship” and stated “all great things starts with just a small idea and we are hoping to make this event a great one”.“Through this event, we wanted to bring more sports events into the year calendar of Nagaland, but more importantly we want give entertainment to the sports person and sports lovers” they added.
Further the RYC also said that we are looking at the positive side of the coin and hoped with God’s blessing we will be successful. “And if we are, we are talking about making it a yearly event too, though we haven’t even taken much step” they exuded.
