Former magistrate declares candidature

Dimapur, Jan. 27 (EMN): In a surprise move, former magistrate and a well known figure in the state Mayang Lima declared his candidature on Sat. at Chuchuyimlang in Mokokchung to contest from the Arkakong Assembly Constituency in the forthcoming assembly elections. "I intend to contest in the forthcoming 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly Election from 22 Arkakong Constituency. To this respect I have declared my candidature today at my native village Chuchuyimlang,” stated a communiqué from the intending candidate. Currently the constituency is represented by NPF MLA and advisor Nuklutoshi, who coincidentally hails from the same village as Lima.
