Dimapur, April 21 (EMN): Commemorating the Earth Day, the officers and staff of Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Nagaland led by the PCCF and HoFF I Panger Jamir, undertook a cleanliness drive at Dzulekei valley, a tourist spot interspersed with a number of sites meant for picnickers and tourists. The department updated on Saturday.
Colluding on the theme for the year “End Plastic Pollution,” the officers and the staff cleaned the area of waste plastics and bottles in a short drive during which the Jamir reiterated the need to maintain the clean environment of Dzulekei and other such areas.
Maintaining the pristine nature is not the responsibility of only the land owners but also of the visitors as well, he said.
