Food, Games, Fun marks NCM first Music Fair

Food, Music, Games, Fun- that was what folks enjoyed at Nagaland Conservatory of Music (NCM) Campus Dimapur on Saturday March 11 at its first Music Fair.
The purpose of Music Fair is to make Music more accessible to larger section of the society and through such events reach out to people and create opportunities, articulated Lipokmar Tzüdir initiator of NCM. Music he said is pursued mostly by those financially secured but such events can create avenues and the long felt need for realisation of music can also be imparted.
Music plays an important role in a child’s development and this event is a good investment of NCM for youths and children which is also a part of NCM’s Corporate Social Responsibility activity.
Tzüdir says through this event he hopes to encourage people to realise the taste of music especially parents so that through their involvement music can be part of their life.
The event is not only about Music but also an avenue for entrepreneurs for transaction and for those entrepreneurs who share keen interest towards music to be part of this music fair conveyed Tzüdir. He also shared the event will be part of NCM’s annual plan with more days involvement.
The fair which aimed to encourage amateur musicians through various games and activities like -Music matching game, Rhythm pattern activity game, Sing me a round song , Musical treasure hunt , karaoke and jamming witnessed Disney Princesses Medley (NCM students), Guitar ensemble (NCM students ) , Welly Baruah, Jonathan Yhome, Thunglamo Ngullie, TK Lemtur , Gold planet and Bendang Jamir enthralling the crowd.
Food stalls, art and crafts, face painting, ATV ride Polaris, movies and bouncy castles were the days inducement and perk.
