FNR invites ‘all Nagas’ to share and create history

Dimapur, Jan. 9 (EMN): The Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) has issued a final invitation to each and every Naga person to ‘participate in the historic first Naga Day to be held at Khuochiezie (Kohima local ground) on Wednesday.
This was contained in a statement from the FNR issued on Tuesday. “The FNR would like to state that the decision to organize Naga Day was taken only after consulting with Naga apex organizations. The first meeting to this effect was held on September 7, 2017, with 19 Kohima based tribe unions; the second meeting was held on October 13, 2017, with 35 apex Naga organizations in Chumoükedima; the third meeting was held on November 27, 2017, with 29 apex Naga organizations, also in Chumoükedima.

“Finally, the FNR announces that the Nagaland State Government has assured to allow all interested State Government officials to attend the Naga Day. Come and be part of Naga Day!” the FNR’s public invitation read.
