Fisheries department imparts exotic major carp’s training to farmers

Dimapur, April 28 (EMN): The Department of Fisheries, led by Chief Executive Officer (FFDA) Dimapur, Dr. Vimezo Kire along with technical staffs, Shamyung, fishery inspector; Nokener and Ayutemjen, fishery demonstrator imparted training to 25 fish farmers, on culture of Indian major carps and exotic major carps at Bade Village Panchayat Hall on April 26.
The department also distributed 350 kgs of floating fish feed, 450 kg of lime and training manual “Handbook on culture of Indian major carps and exotic major carps” to the fisher folks of the village.with fish farmers at Bade village on Wednesday.
