Emporium Institute registering youths for free skill training

Dimapur, Nov. 7 (EMN): With an aim to create employment opportunities for the educated unemployed youths, the department of employment, skill development and entrepreneurship, government of Nagaland, in association with Emporium Skill Training Institute, conducted an on-spot registration for interested youths for training in different fields especially in the aviation and hospitality sectors during the Tokhu Emong-cum- mini hornbill festival at public ground Wokha.
“Training fee is totally free of cost and the same is borne by the Nagaland Govt, Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna,” stated a press statement received here.
The department of employment, skill development and entrepreneurship opened up a stall at the venue, local ground Wokha on Nov. 6 and 7 during the Tokhu Emong festival celebration.

Many youths registered for the training for the next batch which will start from January 2019.
However, for those who could not register during the two day event, they can register at the office of the District Employment Exchange, Wokha.
Emporium Skill Training Institute is registered under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and it has trained and placed more than 5000 Naga youths in various airlines as Cabin Crew, Airport Ground Services, Five Star Hospitality/Hotel Professionals and Cruise Line professionals all over the world.

“ It is the India’s Best Aviation, Tourism and Hospitality vocational training institute and it has been recognized globally for its excellence in placement network across the world,” stated the press release.
Emporium Naga students are working across the globe with the most eminent brands with starting salaries from INR 15000 up to INR 1 lakh per month.

The institute is currently training Naga youths in its skill training centre at Nagarjan, Dimapur, Nagaland. 220 trainees are trained and placed every quarter, stated a press statement received here. For the next batch of trainees, the institute will be inducting 220 candidates which will be admitted from all over the state.
It has placed its trainees in international and domestic airlines like Singapore airlines, Qatar, Emirates, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Lufthansa, British Airways, Etihad and hotel companies like Taj Hotels & Resorts, J.W. Marriot, Hyatt, ITC Welcome group, Leela Kempinski, Le Meridian, Accor Hotels, Shangri La etc, the release added.
