Violence against women is a human rights violation.
Violence against women is a consequence of discrimination against women, in law and also in practice, and of persisting inequalities between men and women.Violence women impacts and impedes, progress in many areas including poverty, eradications, combating HIV/Aids and peace and security.
Violence against women and girls continues to be Global pandemic.
Today as the whole world observes International Day for elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls I would like to request my Dear Sisters who are in pain and Silent victims of Abuse to Break your silence, stand up and raise your voice. Know that it is your right, you are not alone, and you are not to be blamed.
