Dimapur, March 19 (EMN): The 1st Bi-Annual sports meet organised by Dimapur Sumi Students Union (DSSU) under the theme “one team, one dream” concluded at GHSS ground. The two days event was hosted by Sumi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu, united colony.
Patkai Christian College Sumi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu emerged as the overall champion while SD Jains Girls College bagged the runners-up trophy. The best disciplined unit was awarded to Sumi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu, united colony.
The two days sports meet was graced by Kuhoi Zhimomi chairman, Sumi Council Dimapur (SCD) as the chief guest. All together 27 units took part in the meet wherein 8 events were played in different categories.
The exhibition match between DSSU and WSSU officials was won by the DSSU through a tie-breaker after the match ended in a draw.
