Dreamz Unlimited motivates NTTC students

NTTC students and officials of Dreamz Unlimited during the first ever Summer Fest on August 19.

Dimapur, August 22 (EMN): The first ever ‘Summer Fest’ of Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre (NTTC) was held on August 19 in its premises. The ‘Summer Fest’ hosted by Miss Vitono Haralu and Tova X Achumi, 5th semester students of Diploma, was aimed at encouraging talents of the students musically by creating a platform and motivate to uplift their moral character and to promote the institute.
The welcome address was delivered by Ahoto Achumi, while short speech was delivered by Er. Ebipeni Ezung, Assistant General Manager of NTTC, wherein she highlighted on how the idea for establishing NTTC was conceived as well as other activities in imparting various employable skill training programmes.
Special numbers were presented by first, third and fifth semesters and automobile students, while the benediction was pronounced by its warden, Samrangbe.
Special features of the event included screening of movie ‘NANA – A tale of us’ by Dreamz Unlimited. The characters in the movie spoke and showed the reflection of many viewers where one can relate oneself at different stages of life. It left many laughing and crying yet a reminder on how one can make a difference in building our people and the impact of change through one person’s change of heart.
An interactive session was held after screening of the movie in which Tiakumzuk Aier, Director of Dreamz Unlimited, spoke on how to define success and not compare with others journey but chart out their own through hard work and dedication.
Pointing out that even a coolie or an auto rickshaw driver earns honestly and feeds his family, which itself is an achievement, team member Bokavi Swu encouraged the participants never to give up in life attitude. He cited examples of his team where they have faced many challenges and wanted to give up due to lack of support along their way. Meanwhile, the team encouraged the students to dream big and work with perseverance towards their goal no matter what comes their way.
Altogether, 250 students including students from other parts of the North eastern states, dignitaries, officers and staff from the institute attended the programme.
Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre, Dimapur, was established in 2006 by the Government of Nagaland with the assistance from the MSME, Government of India. The Institute is imparting specialised course on 4 years ‘Diploma in Tool & Die Making’ and other short term training programmes for the school dropouts and local unemployed youth across Nagaland and neighbouring North eastern states.
