Phek: The monthly Phek DPDB meeting was held at DPDB hall on September 120, with Advisor of Higher Education & NBHM and Chairman of Phek DPDB, Deo Nukhu as the chairperson.
Presentation of departmental activities was given by Co-operative and Excise department.
After discussion the house approved to forward the request forecasting schemes of LADP 2017-18 in r/o 17th Chizami and common pool.
The next DPDB meeting presentation will be presented by J.N.V Zuketsa and Women Helpline Kohima.
Wokha: The monthly Wokha District Planning and Development Board meeting was held on September 11 at DC’s Conference hall, Wokha, under the chairmanship of Vice Chairman and Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, Wezope Kenye.
The board in the meeting approved the registration of Wokha District Construction Workers Society (WDCWS) and recommended the same for consideration of the higher authority.
Deputy Commissioner in the meeting informed all head of offices in the district to submit the list and name of the drivers, telephone numbers and vehicle registration numbers to his office at the earliest.
Calling all member to remain in their place of posting and work sincerely for the benefit of the people in the district, the chairman, reminded the members to attend the DPDB meetings regularly.
Principal of Mt.Tiyi College, Wokha presented a detailed report of the programmes and activities of the college.
Tuensang: The monthly meeting of DPDB, Tuensang was held on September 6 at DC’s Conference Hall, Tuensang. Deputy Commissioner, L. JamithungLotha who is also the Vice Chairman, DPDB, Tuensang chaired the meeting.
The Board after deliberation approved the proposal for the up-gradation of Tulip Residential Academy Eshou, Tuensang from class IX to X and also for up-gradation of Christian School, Tuensang. The proposal for setting up of HSLC Examination Center at LongkhimTown was also approved in the meeting
Deputy Project Director, ATMA, Tuensang, Vinoka Y. Kiba highlighted the Departmental activities at the meeting. EE of PWD (R&B), Er. B. Menanglepden also presented a power point on the Departmental activities.
Pughoboto: Pughoboto Sub-Division Planning and Development Board meeting for the month of September was held under the Chairmanship of MLA, Y. Vikheho Swu at the ADC’s office, Pughoboto, on September 5.
Benefits for the farmers, problems and grievances in some department offices were highlighted in the meeting. The Chairman assured to take up the issues with the concern authorities. He also assured to take up welfare measures under the Local Area Development Fund.
SDO (C), ChonpenthungEzung suggested on posting of SDO (Power) and Supply Inspector, at Pughoboto. ADC, Pughoboto presented a power point on the repair and renovation works taken up at the Indoor Stadium, Pughoboto.
