Kohima, July 14 (EMN): Department of School Education has organised a one-day training cum interactive session for its officers and assistants with Principal Director of School Education, Smita Sarangi, as the chief guest at SIEMAT hall, SCERT, Kohima.
Observing that government employees have somehow become usefully monotonous in its functioning, Sarangi, in her inaugural address, said the training module has been designed effectively to enable the officers to learn new things so that the functioning of the office sail smoothly in days to come. She urged the officers and assistant from the DoSE to take advantage of the training programme and learn something new.
Sarangi also reminded the officers that learning new things should not stop even for a day to enable quality output in the functioning of the office.
With the Additional Secretary (Retd), G Khevishe Phucho as the resource person for the day long programme, the participants were taught on various important basic knowledge on filing system/note sheet/PUC, drafting and noting, recruitment rules and general conditions of service, how to initiate pension papers/GPD final settlement/leave encashment, conduct and appeal rules, preparation for service confirmation and DPC and others.
The inaugural programme chaired by Joint Director, Razouseyi Vese commenced with Deputy Director, Zuboni invoking God’s blessings.
