Kohima, Nov. 14 (EMN): Department of School Education (DoSE) has organised a two-day in-house training-cum-interactive session for the drivers and Grade-IV staff in the conference hall of its Directorate on November 14.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, Wonthungo Tsopoe, Director of School Education, spoke on the importance and responsibility of a driver and called upon them to be sincere in their work. Emphasising on the responsibilities of drivers towards their officers, he stressed on the importance of maintaining their time.
Tsopoe also called upon the drivers to be more responsible in taking good care of the vehicle as the lives of the occupants depended on them. He advised them to check the condition of the vehicle and escape the minor accident. He urged the drivers and Grade-IV staff to take advantage of the training programme and learn something new and hoped that the training would bring about positive impact.
It was also informed that new recreation room would be allotted to the drivers in the department in the near future.
The resource persons of training session were G Kevishe, consultant for education department, and Dr. Zavise Rume, Associate Professor of SCERT.
