Dimapur, July 16 (EMN): Dimasa Students’ Union (DSU) of Bamunpukhuri village conducted a seven-day ‘Summer Camp 2017’ beginning from July 7 on the theme “Bloom where you are planted.”
Addressing the closing ceremony, L Leyang, Executive Engineer, Government of Nagaland, emphasised on the necessity to organise career guidance programme in every nooks and corners of villages. He has insisted continuing on such activities, saying it will have a great impact on the society.
Guest of honour and general secretary of Dimasa Public Organisation Nagaland (DPON), Munuhor Thaosen, has encouraged to continue with such programme which was hitherto unknown during his schooling days.
Dimasa cultural dance and cultural games were presented by the students. Uttam Difoesa said the invocation, while the welcome address was delivered by Nairing Girisa, president DSUB. Rejesh Longmailai (VCC) also spoke on the occasion. Both the guests gave away prizes to the winners of different competitions and the vote of thanks was pronounced by Maibi Naiding. The program was compered by Jyoti Dimasa.
The summer camp ended with the unfurling of union flag by the president of DSUB.
