Dimapur, Dec. 18 (EMN): For the second time of such an engagement, members of the East Dimapur Sumi Youth Organisation (EDSYO) have been monitoring traffic movement in areas under its jurisdiction from Dec. 14 to the 16th. The first was in August earlier this year.
Around 50 youth volunteers residing in east Dimapur braved the sun and dust to ensure a smooth drive for the citizens of Dimapur, it was informed.
The leaders of the EDSYO have thanked the volunteers for their efforts to help monitor traffic during the past three days. Also, they have thanked individuals who rendered help in various ways and the public, for their ‘cooperation.’
The organisation is thankful to the traffic authorities for the opportunity to give back to the society.
The EDSYO has encouraged commuters to stick to single lane driving.
